Is Tahlia Jewels jewelry waterproof?
Most of our pieces are, and every product page tells you exactly what that piece can handle. Anything marked waterproof and non tarnish is made from gold vermeil over 925 sterling silver or gold plated stainless steel, and is safe for the ocean, the pool and the shower. Our brand started because our founder's jewelry rusted from surfing every day, so this is the standard we design against.
Will my jewelry tarnish?
Pieces marked non tarnish are designed not to. To keep them bright for years, rinse with fresh water after the ocean or pool, pat dry, and give them an occasional wipe with the polishing cloth included in every order.
What is the difference between gold vermeil and gold plated?
Gold vermeil is a thick layer of real gold over a solid 925 sterling silver base, which makes it the more premium and durable option. Gold plated pieces layer gold over stainless steel, which keeps them affordable and still resistant to water and daily wear. The materials for every piece are listed on its product page.
Is your jewelry hypoallergenic?
Many pieces are nickel free and hypoallergenic, especially those made from stainless steel and 925 sterling silver. Check the materials list on the product page if you have sensitive skin.
How do I find my ring size?
Most of our rings come in US sizes 6 to 8, and several designs are adjustable to fit most hands. See our Ring Size Guide for a simple way to measure at home.
How long does shipping take?

Do you have a warranty?

How should I care for my jewelry?
Rinse with fresh water after salt water or the pool, pat dry, and store pieces in the cotton jewelry bag that comes with your order. Sunscreen and salt are part of island life; a quick rinse keeps them from building up.
Where is Tahlia Jewels based?
We are based on Siargao, the surfing capital of the Philippines. The island's beaches, reefs and marine life inspire every collection, and daily island life is where our waterproof standard gets tested.
Can I personalize a piece?
Yes. Several designs offer initial charms from A to Z or custom birthstones, and made to order pieces may need a couple of extra days before shipping. The product page will tell you the options and any extra processing time.
